College Girl Grocery List

Trying to eat somewhat healthy but on a budget? Fear no more! Here’s some of the things I throw on my grocery list:

Fruits

bananas

apples

some sort of berry (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries)

avocado

Veggies

spinach

zucchini

red onion

bell peppers

asparagus

green beans

Protein

frozen chicken breasts

frozen salmon filets

ground turkey

chicken sausage

turkey deli meat

eggs

Dairy

low-fat sliced sandwich cheese

milk (I use regular milk… but almond if you’re extra healthy)

greek yogurt (hack: instead of cups, get a tub- you get more for less!)

Grains/Carbs

brown rice

whole grain bread

whole grain pasta

sweet potatoes

cereal, oatmeal

Snacks

blue corn or kale chips

almonds

granola/protein/energy bars

oats/granola

fruit strips

Beverages

fruit juice

coffee

Misc.

olive oil

spices

pasta sauce (pesto, red)

light mayo

mustard

salad dressing

peanut butter

jelly

treats (mine is usually dark chocolate covered almonds… yum!)
